Ellis: Four Weeks and His First Bath

Now that Ellis is four weeks old (today, in fact), it finally seemed time for a first real bath. He liked it!

And of course, Blanden loved helping.

You can't tell in this photo, but naturally Ellis has a monkey towel, complete with tail, to match his monkey wardrobe.

Look at those big, beautiful eyes! Even we don't see them this wide open too often because this little guy loves to sleep. (We still can't believe it!)

Big Boy Bath Time

Now that Blanden has turned 1 year old -- and is in the 80th percentile for height! -- we realized he has probably officially outgrown his infant tub and it was time to move on to greater waters for his nightly dip. He was quite taken with all the space -- and with the bubbles.

He's not trying to climb out. He just loves to stand up, now that he knows how to do it. But we d0 need to work on not standing up in the bathtub...
Well, okay, just a quick stand so Dad can capture a good photo. :)
