Blanden and I went swimming with our friends Susan and Sarah at their neighborhood pool again today. What fun! Especially in another 90-plus-degree day. When we got home, I was craving an ice cream cone, which seemed the perfect snack to complete our adventurous afternoon. So I sawed off the top of a sugar cone to make Blanden his own mini. ;) The first one was far too heavy (I must have been channeling Papa, telling me to pile it on) and promptly fell to the floor, so Ella enjoyed an ice cream cone too. But the second one was just right -- and a big hit!

Welcome to the E.B.W. Blog. This is where the (mis)adventures of Blanden and Ellis will be chronicled. Each post of this blog represents a chapter in the lives of our boys. This blog will serve to bind these chapters into books. These books will be gathered, carefully archived, then lovingly offered as a gift to this library. Comments to these posts are highly encouraged. Your words will enrich our understanding of the unique relationship you've created with our special little guys. Enjoy!

Blanden,
Your momma is a smart one! Even PaPa with his "love" of ice cream and wanting to share it so badly with you, wouldn't have thought to "saw down an ice cream cone". I hope dad wasn't way mad at the two of you, what flavor of treat were you having? Perhaps dad will make you another batch of his homemade ice cream, so that when tempation comes along again, maybe he'll even want a cone too!
Tell you folks when they have a minute, grammy either needs another lesson in transferring pictures from your blog to kodak easy share, or could they transfer the last two in this posting, they are just way to cute for me not to want one!
What adventures will you be up to today?
Grammy
