In typical Denver spring fashion, we are having high 60s and even low 70s weather punctuated by winter storm warnings. After a week of warm sunshine last week, we got about 8 inches of snow Friday, but Blanden's school was still open as much of it melted when it hit the ground, and all of it had melted by Sunday morning. Yesterday it was again in the high 60s -- and tonight predictions call for 8 to 12 inches. Blanden was excited to head out for a little playtime before bed.

And checking out the snow on the trees -- all of which has accumulated in the last hour. (We are happy to have all made it home during rush hour, safe and sound, before the flakes began.) Now we just need to work on getting Blanden to like wearing his mittens as much as he likes his hat and boots...
