And with fellow Spartan Uncle Andrew. (The new book is also a huge hit -- he especially likes the little pull-out tabs that fit perfectly in his mouth. :) He's actually beginning to protest when he drops the toy he's playing with and wants it back.)
Storytime with Aunt Jill and the new book.
Playing with Uncle Andrew yesterday. I met Amy and Tara for a long lunch today and decided to leave Blanden with Grammy, who came over to Andrew and Jill's house to watch him while Andrew worked from home and Jill was at her office. Blanden seems a little overstimulated the past couple days, so it seemed best to let him stay in the same house and have at least a little consistency to his vacation routine.
And I do believe Grammy has the magic touch: In the six hours that I was gone, Blanden slept at least two and a half hours -- or, as Andrew said, he probably slept more today than he has the past couple days combined. Way to go, Grammy!

I want Blanden's new shoes! Can't you all picture Phoenix and I heading off on our power walks, the last few days he has worn his MSU sweater...I mean when the temperatue is 20+, seems like my little guy should at least bundle up a wee bit...anyway, I think I'll look for Spartan shoes too!
