So, although Papa went home as scheduled yesterday afternoon, Blanden is thrilled that Grammy is still here -- and staying for almost an extra week! (And Mommy and Daddy are pretty happy about it too.) After Daddy's accident last weekend, Grammy offered to stay a bit longer and help out. Once we found out that the airlines was willing to waive the fee to transfer her return flight, we couldn't say no! Now Blanden and Grammy have until Tuesday afternoon to soak up some more quality time together. They kicked off their first morning alone today by going for one of their nice long walks. Sometimes they go to the park, sometimes to various stores, sometimes to both, and often to pick up something fun for everyone to eat for lunch and/or dinner. (And, truth be told, Mommy and Daddy are soaking up the extra time as well, especially by sleeping in, appreciating the extra care for Blanden, and enjoying delicious homemade dinners after work.)
