Things seem awfully quiet around the house tonight. Even Belle and Ella seem to be moping about a bit. This afternoon Papa's visit to Denver came to an end.
But we sure had a GREAT visit! Blanden would like to thank Papa for all the time they were able to spend together. He treasured getting up with Papa in the morning, often for 3 hours before Mommy and Daddy awoke (just on time for Blanden to take his morning nap!), sometimes with Grammy's help but often on their own. The boys enjoyed big breakfasts (yogurt, eggs, bananas, pancakes, cinnamon toast, Duffy rolls, all sorts of fun things), walks to 7-11 for the morning paper and donuts, playtime in Blanden's play space together, reading lots of books, and especially watching the world go by while swinging and chatting on the front porch. Papa has become expert at rocking Blanden to sleep in the swing and giving him his bath at night. Blanden misses you much already!
However, we are already looking forward to our trip to Michigan in July, and to Papa's (and Grammy's) return trip to Denver in September. We can't wait to see you again soon!
