Today, as we do on many days, Blanden, Belle, and I took a midmorning break to venture to our neighborhood park. We have heard from our cousins in Wisconsin that the heat has arrived there -- as it has here. During summertime in Colorado, it's best to enjoy being outside before it hits 90-plus -- and before the afternoon thunderstorms roll in.

Welcome to the E.B.W. Blog. This is where the (mis)adventures of Blanden and Ellis will be chronicled. Each post of this blog represents a chapter in the lives of our boys. This blog will serve to bind these chapters into books. These books will be gathered, carefully archived, then lovingly offered as a gift to this library. Comments to these posts are highly encouraged. Your words will enrich our understanding of the unique relationship you've created with our special little guys. Enjoy!

Blanden,
I sware you have grown again, just since Grammy left Denver, which was just over a week ago! But, looks like you, Belle and Momma were having a fun trip to the park, do you think that maybe this weekend, Dad will go to?
Momma tells me that not only are you pulling yourself up to standing, using whatever support you can find, Belle included, but now you are doing a wee bit of walking, holding on to a hand? Bet you will be starting to take little baby steps on your own before we see you again.
Did Dad get home in time for bedtime stories tonight?
I need to write your mom a little "big person email", so I'll let you run off and play now.
Love,
Grammy
When did he turn into such a KID?!?!
