Aargh!

Since Blanden is a bit too young to select his own Halloween costume just yet, Daddy and I choose for him: a pirate, just for fun, courtesy of Grammy's seamstress skills extraordinaire. :) With a few long-distance measurements and some last-minute tweaking in person last month, Blanden ended up with one fantabulous Halloween get-up, which we've all been anxious to see him in.

Tonight Blanden got to dress up for music class. Alas, there was no group photo like there was last year (how can it already have been one year since our baby was a lil' rancher?!) as there is no more holding the "babies" either still for a photo -- or holding them too much at all.

We just had to show you the back of the coat, because it is so darn cute and perfectly tailored to Baby B. :)
Blanden loves playing the drums in class. He beats steadily right along with his teacher.
Blanden will be dressing up two more times before the holiday is over: once to visit Daddy's office on Friday -- complete with a bucket of (chocolate) gold coins to carry around from Daddy; after all, every pirate needs gold coins -- and once more on Halloween, of course, so there will likely be more photos to come of our little mate...
