A Parade!

There aren't too many photos to share today, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great day. On the contrary, in fact, it was the best day so far for all of us, but for different reasons. While I went out to lunch and shopping with longtime girlfriends, Blanden got to spend the entire afternoon and evening with Grammy and Papa (or, one could say that Grammy and Papa got to spend the entire afternoon and evening with Blanden, depending on how you want to phrase it). Let's just say that everyone greatly enjoyed their very special time together.

Here he is again playing in Phoenix's dog bed.

The highlight of today was seeing his first parade! Grammy and Papa took Blanden to downtown Monroe to watch the Thanksgiving floats go by.

According to Grammy and Papa, he was intrigued, but not quite sure what to make of it all -- especially the fire engine and ambulance with their sounds and flashing lights.

Enjoying another "his size" chair; this one a rocking chair. Last year we had to prop him up in it and all stand guard to be sure he didn't fall out! This year he is climbing in and out like a pro.

Enjoying evening playtime...

Once again with Aunt Jill and Uncle Andrew, who came back over for dinner.
