I forgot I had taken these photos of Blanden helping me make pumpkin pancakes Halloween morning.
(That enormous hole in the wall will get fixed, whenever we find time -- and energy -- to get back to painting the kitchen...)
And here are some photos taken tonight. 
Last summer, he learned how to clean asparagus. He now does it all by himself.
He puts the stems in one pile and throws them out at the end, and the tips in another and puts them in the steamer. I like how he lines up both piles so neatly.
And, yes, he's wearing his chef's hat and apron but no shirt. What can we say? Sometimes this toddler likes to take off his clothes and we just go with it.
