Coloring Eggs

We accidentally bought an Easter egg coloring kit that involved putting the eggs into little plastic bags of dye instead of dipping them in colored vinegar. It was ... interesting. We'll probably go back to the traditional method next year, but we now have a dozen and a half beautiful eggs in assorted spring colors and had fun nonetheless.

Or, at least, Blanden had fun. Ellis is thinking, "Hey, this isn't too much fun for me!" Ellis was frustrated that he couldn't color eggs too. Next year, little one, next year. (And, yes, we know his hair is getting very long. We're trying to hold out until his first birthday, just like we did with his big brother. But unlike his big brother, Ellis's hair is stick straight so it's a little bit harder to mask the length. However, we're not ready to let go of the darling "baby look." We'll see if we make it ... )

For what it's worth, I would not want to let go of those precious locks, either!
