With Halloween upon us, Blanden and I had a good excuse to bake. Yesterday morning, we got out the MixMaster and went to work. First up: sugar cookie cutouts.
Baker B usually comes and goes, but yesterday he stayed in the kitchen for the entire duration -- he mixed the dough, he rolled and cut out the dough, he mixed the frosting while the cookies baked, and then we decorated: ghosts and bats, moons and pumpkins, with lots and LOTS of sprinkles, however he wanted to decorate them. Next up: orange cupcakes ... But not for a week or so. Even Mommy's sweet tooth needs a break after all of that sugar (and my sidecar of frosting).
