Twas the Week Before Halloween ...

At the Wensuc Family Fire Station,
where Fireman Blanden was ready to go,
along with his sidekick Dalmatian!

Blanden has been wanting to be a fireman for this Halloween ever since we came home from trick-or-treating last year (http://ebw-blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/happy-halloween.html). After months -- literally months -- of sporting his fireman rain boots and various fire chief helmets around the house, and requesting that the rest of us do the same (with the helmets; only he wears the boots), the festivities have begun! And since Ellis is too little to state his own preferences for costumes, we couldn't resist.

The boys dressed up for music class tonight. Once again, we feel incredibly blessed to have homemade, hand-sewn, lovingly crafted Halloween costumes courtesy of Grammy. But best of all, Grammy (and Papa too!) are going to get to see the boys in their costumes in person this year! We love the costumes, but we love the person who makes them so much more.
