As you know, Grammy arrived back in town last Thursday evening. Since we had Friday all to ourselves (Mommy is taking advantage of Grammy's babysitting time and booked various appointments for this week), we headed west into the mountains and were off on a little adventure. We ended up in Georgetown.
We found a fantastic playground, where Blanden got to go down several slides...
Play in the sandbox...
And try a tire swing -- all by himself for the first time! He loves the tire swing at Wash Park, but that one is much higher off the ground so Mommy always helps hold him on, just in case. He was pretty excited to do this one on his own (mostly).
It was a beautiful day, perfect for a gorgeous mountain drive and some time outside.
After the park, we had lunch...
And ice cream...
And then headed home.
