After much anticipation and building excitement, Grammy and Papa are back! Blanden and I picked them up from the airport this morning, then we all headed straight downtown for some of our favorite pizza for lunch (Ed was even able to join us) and gelato for dessert. The visit is off to a great start!
Wisely, against protests from Mommy -- who was thinking, He'll never eat it all. He can just share mine -- Papa convinced Mommy to let him to buy Blanden his very own cup for the first time, a wildberries-and-mango combination. Turns out, he ate the entire thing -- plus some of mine! He clapped after several bites, it was just that good. :)

We have been with you and the folks for almost a day of our visit, and it is just great! PaPa and I prepared ourselves that you might be a little shy, after all we haven't seen you in about 6 weeks, but you've already given both of us a number of "loves", so we are happy, happy, happy! Last night, papa watched as you had your tubby time with dad, and this morning, you let me put you down for your nap, we are taken advantage of us much time with you as possible, first of all, because we LOVE you sooooooooooooooooo much, and since momma and dad are going away for the weekend, we want to be prepared to take the absolute best, loving, happy care of you possible! Because, if we do a good enough job at this, perhaps they will let us have you again sometime, while they have a grown up get away.
I heard you playing in your crib, think it is time for us to take a walk to the park...what do think?
