Winter Walk to the Library

This morning we woke up to Denver's first official snowfall of the season, with a little dusting on the ground already and light white flakes falling down. Blanden celebrated by sleeping in until 8:30 a.m. (!). Then we all celebrated with homemade whole wheat blueberry pancakes for breakfast.

This afternoon we bundled up and took a short family walk to the library and to grab a couple of slices of pizza for lunch. Brr! It was fun to have a little taste of what is to come later this winter, but fortunately temperatures are going back into the 40s, 50s, and 60s next week.

Grammy NEEDS this picture!

Blanden, when the folks have the chance, have them plesae up load this pictue to Kodak, it is one that I definately want to put in my Blanden Book! You look both cuddlie and a bit surprised that you are so bundled up. Did you get to "touch" the snow at all? Some people says that the best part of waking up is a fresh cup of coffee, not me, no sir, for me not much beats opening up the email to find YOU there! Well, if I'd have been at your house to see the happiness and rested look on everyones face when you had such a good sleep in yesterday, that would have been fun too!

Todays adventures in Denver?

Love,
Grammy
